Bylaw Update
Updates the SAYHA Bylaws
The board unanimously approved an update to the bylaws providing more clarity around board roles in the day to day
operations of the organization.
After the hiring of our Executive Direction (Nicole Adams), we had not officially adjusted the org charts to match the
new structure. While working to update the org charts, we also realized that verbiage in the bylaws needed to be
clarified as well.
Additional edits include changing the title of a committee, and clarifying the vote for board seats to be in line with our
actual practices.
This amendment was presented to the board at last board meeting for informational purposes, and was open to
adjustments amongst the board over the last 30 days. Small adjustments were made to the original proposal over the
month and the board re-reviewed and approved that changes on March 13th.
