1. Register as an official on the USA Hockey website.
2. Start your online Modules.
3. Print out your open book test, do not answer the test online.
4. Sign up for a local seminar and bring the open book test with you.
5. Continue working on your modules until completed.
As a first-year official, you are not allowed to work any games until your open book test and modules are completed.
Sign up with USA Hockey registration as a referee, take the seminar, and ref your first game, and you will be reimbursed $45 of your registration and seminar costs.
