Vice President - Administration

Bio

Ryan is a project manager in the telecommunications industry. He has overseen the planning and execution of hundreds of wireless infrastructure projects across the western United States. Ryan is also a licensed attorney and MBA. He hopes to use his experience to benefit SAYHA’s administrative efforts, particularly in the areas of rules compliance and process management.

Ryan was born and raised in Spokane. As a former SAYHA goalie, he is passionate about serving the local hockey community and helping the next generation of hockey players. Ryan spent last season assisting on his son’s 8U team. He plans to continue coaching in the future. He enjoys working with kids and loves seeing their continuous improvement throughout the season.

Ryan is a proud husband and father. He and his wife Katie have three children, Ethan, Tyler and Madelyn. Ethan and Tyler are currently playing hockey at SAYHA in the 8U and Learn to Play programs. When they are not at the rink, Ryan and his family like to go hang out with friends and go for adventures.

Board Position Description

The Vice President Administration will provide oversight and direction for activities and staffing related to the ongoing administration of the Association. Such responsibilities shall include aligning the strategic goals of the Board with the day-to-day operations of the SAYHA Business Manager. Additionally, this position will work with the Eagles Operations Board of Directors (or will be SAYHA’s representative to that Board) to ensure that SAYHA’s requirements are being met from a facilities perspective. The Vice President - Administration may also sit on certain committees to ensure the Board’s directives and committee’s desires align with the strategic direction of the Association.
