8U Intermediate-Red – Mite Skate at Spokane Chiefs Intermission

Location: Meet outside the main entrance at 3:15pm
“Hey everybody, I just got this information last night regarding mite skate at the Chiefs game for our team on Dec 1st. I need a confirmation on who will be going so I can get the roster to the office.
ARRIVAL TIME-We will need all the kids to show up between 3:15-3:30 pm. Park in one of the arena’s main lots and meet at the main entrance. It is important to us that EVERYONE participating in the Mite Skate is there no later than 3:30pm, so we can walk the whole group back at once.  We will take the group to the locker room that they will use to change so they can drop off their gear.  Then we will go over the agenda of when and where they need to meet us once the game starts.
PARKING- You can park in the main arena lots. Parking this season is $10 for Chiefs games. There is minimal free street parking.
TICKETS-We will have 3 tickets per kid playing in the Mite Skate set-aside.  We will give those to the coach or a parent to distribute in the locker room when they drop off their gear at 5:30pm.  I know sometimes certain families need more tickets, and some don’t need any at all, so I leave that up to the team to figure out how the tickets get distributed.  They will have to go back outside the arena and enter through one of the ticket entrances. The ticket location will change for each Mite Skate based on availability. Parents that who need more tickets than the three provided can call Brandon Holloway (Ticket Account Executive) at 509-340-8398  to purchase additional tickets.  Just have them mention they are with the Mite Skate and he will do his best to get them tickets as close to the Mite Skate as possible.  Some nights that we have the Mite Skate scheduled this season will be busier than others, and to get 48 plus tickets together in the same section can be interesting, so there is a good chance a handful of the nights the tickets will be in the upper level.
OTHER INFORMATION- If you can send me a roster of the kids playing that would be great!  If you can have the coach break them up into two teams and let me know who is on what team it will make it easier to put in the P.A. script and announce.  I will need the roster NO LATER than 12pm on the day of the Mite Skate.  We will have t-shirts for the kids to wear out onto the ice, and we can’t have more than 16 total kids.  Two teams of 8.  Another thing that we ask is when the kids come down to get changed that only one parent accompany each child.  There isn’t a whole lot of room in the locker rooms, and we allow the parents to go on the bench and take pictures during the promotion and again there just isn’t enough room to have more than one parent or other siblings, grandparents etc., down there.  If you can spread the word on that so the parents can be prepared I would appreciate it.  We will also have the kids leave their gear in the dressing room and they can pick it up at the end of the game downstairs.” (Arrival Time: 3:15 PM (Pacific Time (US & Canada)))
