Raffle Tickets: All players who register with Spokane Youth Hockey at 8U-18U
and pay regular-season rates will receive 10 raffle tickets (1 initial book) to sell. Tickets will be distributed to players (families) at Back to Hockey Week. Each player’s family will keep any money made from the sale of the first 10 tickets ($100). Each ticket is valued at $10 for a total of $100. They are all numbered and all tickets must be tracked per state law. Please take care to ensure you do not lose the packet (they cannot be replaced and should be treated like cash).
All ticket stubs are to be returned to the SAYHA Office no later than Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 8 PM to be eligible for the drawings (but feel free to turn them in as you sell - we may have periodic drawings for extra prizes throughout October-March)! It will be the seller’s responsibility to deliver the tickets to the SAYHA Office in order to be eligible for drawings. Raffle ticket stubs must be filled out completely in order to be turned in unless the seller (you) is the one buying the tickets, in which case your first and last name only will be acceptable.
Drawing Information: Any in-season drawings will be held at Eagles Ice Arena | 6321 North Addison | Spokane, Washington 99208. The $3,000 voucher (player sales prize) drawing will be held on Thursday, March 20th at 6 PM with the Grand Prize drawing.
How will we know who wins? Come to the drawing! Winning ticket numbers will be shared on Facebook Live and posted on our website and social media directly after the drawing. Need not be present to win. Winners will be notified via email, phone, and/or mail after the drawing has concluded. Prizes will be distributed within 2 weeks of the drawing to the winners.
For Sellers
Do I need to collect money for raffle tickets? The initial allocation of raffle tickets (1 book) is included as part of your registration fees. Every ticket you sell from this initial allocation of raffle tickets is money you get to keep. For any subsequent book, you will turn in $100 cash or checks to the SAYHA office as you turn in the tickets. Tickets turned in without payment will be held until payment is received. Until March, tickets may only be turned in in books of 10. Partial books will not be accepted.
How do I pickup more tickets to sell? Request additional tickets by emailing Program Administrator, Shelby FitzGerald. Pickup will be
arranged at our office at Eagles Ice Arena. Additional raffle tickets will be distributed to members in packs of 10.
Who can purchase tickets? Who is eligible to win? Anybody 18 years or older can purchase a ticket and win - there is no minimum age restriction to sell tickets.
The fine print. Washington State Gambling Commission License #02-02377. Must be 18 or older to purchase a ticket or
